After selling this land in October 1797, Daniel McAninch went through the Cumberland Gap and

down the Wilderness Road to Lincoln County, Kentucky, so the delayed recording was probably

connected with other Melon Haworth transaction(s) in 1808 (not involving Daniel McAninch).
