Shortly thereafter, Eva died, and it is believed that she is buried in Westmoreland County -- |

According to the family stories, Eva died “in childbirth”, but there is no record of her second child. |
|
There are no other McAninch's in that cemetery or book, by any spelling, and it is likely that Eva was |
|
buried in the area where the family was living in 1913, before they went to Ohio and/or Michigan. |
|
Albert re-married, circa 1915, to his second wife, Maria A. (maiden name unknown); again, we do |
|
not know exactly where, or when. Albert and his family may have been in Ohio around the time of |
|
the 1920 census, but have not been found yet. Eva's sister, Gertrude (Masters) Beckley, and her |
|
brother, Harry Wilson Masters, were both living in Lucas County, Ohio, by 1920 [Sharon Sheldon]. |
|
In 1930, Albert McAninch is living on a farm in Whiteford Township, Monroe County, Michigan, |
|
and working in coffee manufacturing. Eva Masters' sister, Gertrude, was married to Sewell Beckley. |
|
Sewell Beckley was in wholesale coffee and tea sales (and the family has pictures of Sewell in China). |
|
Gertrude was just a few years older than Eva, so it's possible that these two hooked up into doing |
|
business together, despite the fact that Eva died and Albert remarried [Sharon Sheldon]. |

The “first marriage” ages (39, 19) only make sense if they answered the question “age at this marriage”. |
|
Albert and Maria were married ca.1915, and have been married for about 15 years (Maria, age 34, first |
|
marriage at age 19). So, we believe that Ruth, born ca.1919-1920, is the daughter of Albert and Maria. |
|
However, it appears that Albert may have shaven a few years off of his own age (for his new bride?). |
|
At this time, we do not know what happened to Albert and Maria, nor either of the children, Ray and |
|
Ruth. There is a record of a Ray McAninch, with an appropriate birthdate, who died in 1983 in Toledo, |
|
Lucas County, Ohio [for further research -- "Born: 4/2/1906 / Died: 3/1983 / Residence: Toledo, OH" |
|

And, who were the parents of this Albert McAninch? Did Albert grow up in western Pennsylvania? |

Allegheny County? Or could he be another son of John and Isabel (Wells) McAninch, Clarion County? |
