Know all by these presents that I John McAninch of Giles County, Tennessee, have this day for |
|
|
and in consideration that Alexander Ferguson, John H. McAninch and Samuel D. McAninch have |
|
|
agreed to bear the burden and make the payment which I now owe for the steam sawmill that is to |
|
|
say to Amis and Underwood and such other debts as may now be a claim upon my landed estate by |
|
|
Judgement or otherwise the amount supposed to be about twenty five hundred dollars, they are each |
|
|
to pay an equal portion with myself and in consideration that they have agreed to pay their proportion |
|
|
respectively. I have sealed, aliened, conveyed and by these presents do alien and convey to the said |
|
|
Ferguson, John H. McAninch and Samuel D. McAninch as tenants in common with me, they each |
|
|
holding one part, and I one, so that I + the said Ferguson + John H. + Samuel D. are to be tenants in |
|
|
common of the Steam Saw Mill and the land thereto attached in said County Also three fourths of all |
|
|
the rest of my Real Estate in said County where I now live + the saw mill tract is hereby conveyed for |
|
|
the consideration aforesaid, and I the said John McAninch for myself my heirs executors &c, do by |
|
|
these presents agree to warrant the title of the said land and saw mill to the said Ferguson, John H. + |
|
|
Samuel in their respective portions |

|
Given under my hand and seal the 26th day of August 1841 |

within named John McAninch with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that |
