Know all men by these presents that I John McAninch of the County of Giles and State of |

Tennessee am held and firmly bound unto McAninch + Dishough in the sum of thirty dollars ... |

to be levied on my goods and chattels lands and tenements |

Given under my hand and seal this March 24th 1840. |

But this bond is on the following condition and no other, that is to say I have sold to the firm |
|
|
of McAninch + Dishough a tract of land ... in said County on the waters of Dunnahoe's Creek |
|
|
containing three acres more or less ... |
|
|
commencing at a large Sycamore tree on the bank of Dunnahoe's Creek it being a line [word?] |
|
|
between John Williamson and John McAninch from thence westwardly to a marked [word?] |
|
|
tree in the lot from thence southward to a [three words?] marked on the line between John |
|
|
McAninch + Dishough from thence with said line to a cedar stake with dogwood and ironwood |

painters all on said Williamson's line thence with said Williamson's line to the beginning |
