Know all by these presents that I John McAninch of Giles County and State of Tennessee are |

held and firmly bound |
|
|
unto Henderson Dishough [no 't'] in the sum of twelve |
|
|
[pg.364] hundred dollars to be levied on my goods chattels lands and tenements |
|
|
Given under my hand and seal this March 24th 1840. |
|
|
But this bond is on the following condition and no other, that is to say I have sold to said |
|
|
Dishough a tract of land ... in said County on the waters of Dunnahoe's Creek containing one |
|
|
hundred fifty acres more or less ... |
|
|
commencing at a cedar stake on John Williamson [Williamson line, see 3 acre deed, same date] |
|
|
line with dogwood and ironwood painters running from thence westward with a mark[ed?] line |
|
|
it being agreed [with?] by the painters to a large [two words?] in Henry Serles line from thence |
|
|
running south with said Serles line to Caleb White's corner and from thence east with said line to |
|
|
the corner on John McAninch's and said White's line thence North with said line to the beginning |
|
|
