Deed of Trust to
Charles _ Myers [sic]	Registered the 11th day of July in 1832

This indenture made and executed this March 25th 1832 between Samuel McAninch of the first
part John W. [H.?] Bodenhamer of the second part and Charles Myers all of the County and State
aforesaid of the this [sic] Witnesseth that whereas the land Samuel McAninch has this day applied
to the said Charles Myers land to stay an execution to the amount of thirty five dollars 98 [cents?]
<unreadable> which he the said McAninch is justly indebted to Carter & Nye and dated
<unreadable> January 1822 before Esq. Reed Thomasifter <spelling?> for the Keepers of the
coming <?> the payment of which said Executors <?> the said Samuel McAninch has this day
and doth hereby bargain sell and convey to the said John W. Bodenhamer a certain parcel or tract
of land situated in Giles County on the waters of Hurricane Creek where the said Samuel McAninch
now resides and also all the right to the said McAninch occupancy
Beginning at a Chestnut seventy poles North & eighty four poles East from the North East corner
of a tract of 10 acres granted to Alexander McDonald No. 745 then South sixty three ¼ poles to a
<unreadable> (dogwood) [sic] then West sixty three ¼ poles to a stake with <two poplar pointers>
<?> the South sixty three and a quarter poles to a dogwood then East to the beginning
To him the said John W. Bodenhamer his heirs and assigns warranting of the title of the above
described land to be clean from all manner of <unreadable, 2 words> under him In trust for the sole
purpose of <unreadable> said debt of thirty five dollars ninety eight cents Together with all interest
and costs that may accrue thereon and is explicitly agreed on and understood that should the said
Samuel McAninch fail to pay and satisfy the aforesaid debt and interest and cost or any part thereof
when the same may become due that the said John W. Bodenhamer as <unreadable> by giving ten
days notice by advertising at the court house in the town of Pulaski and five other public places in
the County Giles [sic] sell to the highest bidder for cash the said land to pay said debt interest and
costs and the balance thereof should there be any plus pay it to the said Samuel McAninch or his
order and no otherwise whatever

Then was the within Deed of Trust from Samuel McAninch to John W. Bodenhamer, for the benefit
of Charles Myers, produced in court and the execution thereof acknowledged by said McAninch and
ordered to be certified for Registration
