This indenture made on the 7th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and eighteen between John McAninch of one part and David K. McEwin of the other
part … both of the County of Giles and State of Tennessee
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars …
On the west side of Richland Creek of Elk river
[land description same as 1814 Deed] [Beginning at a honey locust and ash and running east
thirty four and half chains to Thomas Westmoreland line thence south twenty nine degrees west
forty chains and two pole to an elm Thence south thirty two degrees East thirty chain to the corner
on a poplar, thence south twenty six chains to the corner on an ironwood thence due West twenty
eight and one half chain to the corner on a [word?], the same being on the original line thence
due North eighty and half chain along the original line to the Beginning, containing by survey two
hundred and ten acres be the same more or less
