One hundred years ago, in the 1910 census, continued – Colorado, Iowa, and North Dakota.


Colorado: Two brothers from Iowa, homesteading in Lincoln County, Colorado.


Iowa: 39 McAninch and related families in Iowa, in 14 different counties

(Appanoose County, Audubon County, Buena Vista County, Clinton County, Floyd County,

Hamilton County, Hardin County, Monroe County, Osceola County, Des Moines / Polk County,

Poweshiek County, Ringgold County, Davenport / Scott County, and Sioux County).


North Dakota: an immigrant from Ireland (David McAninch, no other connections known),

plus George and Floyd, another family moved north-west from Iowa, farming in North Dakota.
