In the graveyard adjacent to the Church of Ireland church (erected in 1831) for the Parish of Dunseverick (part of the Diocese of Connor), in Lisnagunogue, County Antrim, stood this stone: |

“In memory of Archibald McAninch, who died 17 June 1889, aged 70 years, and his wife Jane, |
who died 3 May 1920, aged 92 years. Also his son Alexander, who died 21 July 1894, aged 29 years. |
Elizabeth McNeill, grand-daughter, died 28 July 1928, aged 16 years, And his son Samuel, died 23 |
October 1950, aged 82 years. Asleep in Jesus. Also his daughter Margaret McNeill, died 7 October |
1952, aged 82 years. Erected by his family.” There were masonic markings on the stone. |

“Erected by Jane McAninch. In memory of her father, James McConaghy, who died 19 March 1853, |
aged 51 years.” |

Found in July 1999 by Patrick Shea, of Manhattan, New York, while tracing his Robert and Elizabeth |
(Colgan) McIninch ancestors, from the north of Antrim near the Giant's Causeway and Bushmills, went |
to Canada in the early 1850s, settled near Stirling, Rawdon Township, Hastings County, Ontario. |
