About Grandma McNinch (mother of Mary N. McNinch): |
[yellow post-it note, scanned] |
She was left a young widow with small children. Later when her |
children were raised she married a man named Campbell. They lived to be very old, when one summer |
evening they were sitting on the front porch of their cabin watching a sudden thunderstorm. Lightning |
struck, killed them both, and burned down their home (and her family Bible records were lost forever). |
