“The State Archives maintains an alphabetical list of all the soldiers who served in Indiana |
volunteer regiments (infantry and cavalry) and artillery batteries. The list, a card file, was prepared |
by the W.P.A. in the late 1930’s, employing the original muster rolls of the Indiana volunteer units |

In the Indiana State Archives, there are seven card records, for six different McAninch men [Note 4]. |
