These were all the Daughters of said Samuel McAninch Dec, and of Sons and Daughters there were thirteen heirs at law of the said Samuel McAninch and no more, his wife having died previous to his death

That on Dec 31 1860 Elizabeth McAninch (single) John McAninch & w Enoch G. McAninch (single) Parmelia C. McAninch (single) and William S. McAninch & w convey all their interest in and to all of said described Lands to Joseph McAninch

That on the 17 of June 1862 Samuel J. McAninch conveyed to E. G. McAninch an ---- ---- 1/13 in all of said lands and that on the 3rd day of June 1862 Arminta Harlan and Heirs conveyed an und. 1/13 interest in all of said lands to E. G. McAninch that in turn said Enoch G. McAninch & his then wife conveyed the last named 2/13 to Joseph McAninch.

That on September 22 1862 Daniel McAninch & w conveyed an und. 1/13 in all of said lands to Robert McClellan & w. said Robert McClellan’s wife being the daughter of Sarah Hancock nee McAninch above named the said Sarah Hancock being then deceased and represented by said Samantha McClellan solely, her husband George Hancock being deceased ... That on the 12 day of March 1866 said Robert McClellan and wife Samantha McClellan conveyed a 2/13 interest in all of said lands to Joseph McAninch.

That the said Hannah McAninch intermarried with one William Mann. That on the 12 of September 1870 the said Hannah Mann nee McAninch had died leaving one son and no other issue that said son’s name was John W. Mann. That on the 12 day of Sept 1870 said John W. Mann & w conveyed a 2/13 [sic, 1/13] interest in all of said lands to Joseph McAninch.

That Mary S. McAninch intermarried with John S. Harlan and in such one marriage had one child who survived ... said child intermarried with one Mills. That on the 10th day of March 1873 said Sarah Mills & h conveyed a 2/13 [sic, 1/13] interest in all of said lands to Joseph McAninch ...

That the affiant acquired a tax deed to an und. 1/13 interest ...which 1/13 ... is the only interest unconveyed by the heirs of said Samuel McAninch and in right was the 1/13 interest of Elisha McAninch who is still living at this date

That the affiant has as above shown acquired the aforesaid interest in all of the said lands he being in right entitled to 1/13 interest in all of said lands as one of the heirs of said Samuel McAninch.

That the unacquired title in said lands by said Joseph McAninch is the dower interest of John S. Harlan surviving Husband Mary S. Harlan nee McAninch and the Dower interest of William Mann husband of Hannah Mann nee McAninch.  /s/ Joseph McAninch

Note: Some errors in document: 1. Elizabeth and Permelia are listed as one person when the daughters

of Samuel McAninch are listed. However, they are counted separately and each has her own 1/13 land.

2. Sarah Mills is said to have sold 2/13 land to Joseph, but in reality she only conveyed 1/13. /Rosalie
