    1882 (“Dismissed by letter, Aug. 1883”). This is Joseph F. McAninch, born 1845, son of Daniel

    and Phebe (Pike) McAninch, who married Amy E. (Elizabeth) Howerton, 19 Nov. 1868 [Note 7].

    [and, could not be Joseph McA., born 1821, Kentucky, son of Samuel and Polly McA., married

     Elizabeth Jane Quiett, 1845, near Paris, Edgar County, Illinois, for two reasons – 1) he was not

     “Single” in 1862, and 2) although they lived in Amo until 1866, they moved to Iowa in that year].

    daughter of Enoch G. (George) and Araunah (Knighten) McAninch [see Notes 4, 5, 13, 19].

    1879, Coatesville Class 1881. Who is this Mary McAninch ?

[19] Mary Elizabeth McAninch, Hendricks County, Baptism 1863. Could be daughter of Enoch G.

    and Araunah (Knighten) McAninch, born 5 May 1863, in Hendricks Co., baptized before they

    moved to Iowa? (their Mary E. died 1866, buried Shaha Cem., Ringgold Co., Iowa); or, Mary E.

    (Elizabeth?) McA., b.ca.1862, daughter of John W. and Martha Ann (Smith) McA. [Notes 14, 21]

[20] Mary [Johnson] McAninch, Coatesville, Member 1861, then “Removed by letter”; wife of

    William S. McAninch, married 1 Feb. 1859; went to Iowa after the Civil War [see Notes 10, 30].

[21] Martha A. McAninch, Pleasant Hill, Member 1861, Member 1862, Pleasant Hill Class [H.2.,

    est. 1863], Amo, Member 1867, “Not member since 1873”. Wife of John W. McA. [Note 14].

[22] Martha M. McAninch, Coatesville, Baptism 1873 [DOB not given, could be an adult baptism?];

    Coatesville, Probationers, 1873 [could be new member]; and M. M. McAninch, Coatesville?

    Class [H.5., prob. (18)73]. Who is this Martha M. McAninch ? [not Martha A. McA. (Note 21),

    and not Mary M. (Johnson) McA., wife of Wm. S. McA., they went to Iowa after Civil War].

[23] Maude McAninch, Member, circa 1906-1916, “Removed without letter”. Born 1890, daughter

    of Daniel A. and Rhoda (Wilson) McA.; Maude married Loren Bilderbeck, and went to Florida.

[24] Nancy McAninch, Coatesville Class, 1881. Who is this? Nancy Jane (Allee) McA.? [Note 15].

[25] Permelia C. [Catherine] McAninch, born 1826, daughter of Samuel and Polly McA.;

    Coatesville, Member 1861, 1862, Coatesville Class [H.1., est. 1862], Member 1867, Coatesville

    Class 1870, Coatesville Class [H.4., prob. (18)73], Member, 1879, Coatesville Class 1881,

    Class 1882] Died 1891; one of the “spinster sisters”, with her older sister, Elizabeth. [Note 11].

[26] Phebe [Pike] McAninch, born 1827, in Ohio, daughter of Tristram and Margaret Pike, married

    Daniel [not H.] McAninch, 7 Sept. 1843, in Hendricks County; Pleasant Hill, Member 1861, 1862,

    Pleasant Hill Class [H.2., est. 1863], Coatesville, Member 1867, Coatesville Class 1870,

    Coatesville? Class [H.5., prob. (18)73], Member, 1879, Coatesville Class 1881, Coatesville Class

    1882. Wife of Daniel McA., Phebe (Pike) died 1883, and is buried in Stilesville Cemetery.

[27] Polly Margaret McAninch, daughter of Daniel H. and Phebe (Pike) McAninch, born about 1846;

    Coatesville, Probationers, 1862, Single [age 15-16], Pleasant Hill Class [H.2., est. 1863] [Note 16].

[28] Rhoda W. (Wilson) McAninch, born 1848, wife of Daniel A. McAninch [see Note 9];

    Coatesville, Member 1867, then “Joined Radical Methodist”, (and then later, they came back?).

    Member, ca. 1906-1916, Member, est. 1917-1918. Rhoda died 1930, buried Coatesville cemetery.

[29] Sam’l [Samuel] McAninch, Amo, Member 1867, “Not member since 1873”. Probably Samuel,

    son of John W. and Martha Ann (Smith) McA., born abt. 1851, age 19 in 1870 Census [Note 14].
