1813: William McAninch died, between Feb. 15 and July 26, in Casey County, named

five sons in his will: "James, Jonathon, William, Samuel, Jesse", the witnesses were

James Norrell[sp?], Samuel McAninch, and Thomas E. Jones

1813: Samuel [b.1789, age 24, son of Daniel] married Polly Skidmore:

"Bond of Samuel McInch [sic] to marry Polly Skidmore, with Thomas E. Jones as

surety, July 5, 1813. Consent of Joseph Skidmore for his daughter, same date, giving

name of groom as Samuel McAninch. Witnessed Thomas E. Jones. Jones made oath

that Polly was over 21 years of age."

ash and white oak at C, thence S 40 [deg] E 150 poles to a black oak and hickory at D,

thence S 70 [deg] E 30 poles to a black oak and gum at E, thence N 41 [deg] E 118

poles to 3 white oaks at F, thence N 48 [deg] W 165 poles to the Beginning.

[and, no known connection, James Brach (or "Brock"?, but not "Brown")]

 

Note 1813-3: same "William McAninch line" used in Daniel's 1812 survey?

 

Note 1813-4: Samuel McAninch [b.1807, age 6, son of William] can not legally

witness his father's will; so, must be Samuel [b.1789, age 24, son of Daniel]?

 

Note 1813-5: Samuel McAninch appears in Casey County Tax records from 1813

through 1831, inclusive; all entries show the land "Entered" by G./Geo. Humphrey,

and watercourse Fishing Creek; 1813-1814, 108 acres; 1815, 134a; 1816, 135a;

1817-1822, 137a; 1823(?); 1824-1829, 200a; and 1830-1831, 150a.

Note 1813-7: Geo. Humphries, possible connection (?), Robert R. McAninch

[(believed) son of George A.], married Hannah Humphrey, Casey County, 1852
